LEBANON – Sen. Chris Gebhard (R-48) will host a local food drive throughout September in recognition of Hunger Action Month in Pennsylvania and across the nation.
Gebhard’s Lebanon and Wernersville district offices will be accepting unexpired, non-perishable food items from Sept. 1 thru Sept. 30. At end of the month, the items will be donated to an area food bank.
The Lebanon district office is located at 400 S. 8th St., 101 Municipal Building in Lebanon and the Wernersville district office is located at 6 W. Penn Ave., 1st Floor, West Side in Wernersville.
“Hunger knows no boundaries and is something that continues to be present throughout communities in the 48th district and across the commonwealth,” Gebhard said. “In honor of Hunger Action Month and with the holiday seasons right around the corner, this food drive is a great way for our neighbors to come together and help give to those in need. Each donation no matter how big or small will be a great help.”
